Today is the D day on sic, and I'm watching one of the movies of my childhood, Monsters, Inc. It has been 12 years since I've seen this movie for the first time, I had 8 years! How time flies...

O filme de que vos falo hoje é Aguenta-te aos 40! Quando vi o trailler deste filme achei que seria super giro, uma comédia que teria imensa piada e que mostraria o lado mais cómico do dia-a-dia de um casal de 40 anos. Porém, este filme não foi assim tanto comédia, pelo menos para mim, e apesar de ter gostado pois mostra a verdade dos casais que muitos filmes não mostram, esperava um pouco mais deste filme. Mais alguém tem esta opinião?

The film that I speak to you today is This is 40! When I saw the trailer for this film I thought it was super funny, a comedy that would have huge joke and would show the humorous side of day-to-day life of a married couple of 40 years. But this movie was not so much comedy, at least for me, and although I liked because it shows the truth of many couples that is not showed in films, expected a little more from this movie. Anyone else have this opinion?

Há muito tempo que não fazia esta rubrica sobre os filmes que tenho visto. A verdade é que o tempo para os ver tem sido muito escasso (ainda nem consegui ver os filmes dos óscares!) e ainda há alguns que tinha visto mas sobre os quais não vos tinha falado.
Assim, o filme de hoje é Anna Karenina, um filme que eu gostei bastante de ver e que é uma adaptação do livro escrito por Leo Tolstoy. O próprio filme em sim é feito como se nós estivessemos a ver uma peça de teatro e toda essa peça fosse o filme em si. Achei bastante interessante o modo como foi feito. Para além disso adorei ver o guarda-roupa (uma paixão natural de ver sempre os vestidos e aquilo que os actores vestem).

It has been a long time since I make this line about the movies I've seen. The truth is that the time to see them has been very little (I don't even get time to see the films of the Oscars!) And there are still some who I had seen but on which I had not spoken about.
So today the movie is Anna Karenina, a movie that I really liked to see and that is an adaptation of the book by Leo Tolstoy. The movie is done as if we were watching a play and this whole piece was the movie itself. I found very interesting the way it was done. Also loved to see the wardrobe (a natural passion to always see the dresses and what the players wear).

A cerimónia dos Óscares realiza-se já no próximo dia 24 de Fevereiro e agora que já quase acabaram os exames é altura de fazer uma maratona de filmes para conseguir ver todos os nomeados antes da cerimónia. Não sei se mais alguém tem este hábito mas eu adoro fazê-lo.
Então falo-vos de Moonrise Kingdom, um filme na minha opinião um tanto ou pouco estranho, não digo que não gostei dele mas não cheguei muito bem a perceber a história. De qualquer forma é original e está nomeado para Melhor Argumento Original. Não deixem de ver, apesar de na minha opinião existirem muito melhores.

The Academy Awards ceremony will take place as early as next February 24 and now that I've almost finished the exams is time to make a movie marathon to get to see all the nominees before the ceremony. I do not know if anyone else has this habit but I love doing it.
So speaking of Moonrise Kingdom, a film in my opinion somewhat bit strange, do not say I did not like it very well but did not get to see the story. Anyway it is original and is nominated for Best Original Screenplay. Do not fail to see, though in my opinion there are much better.

Hoje falo-vos de um filme que não tem sido muito publicitado mas que achei espectacular e só tenho ouvido boas criticas sobre ele: Cloud Atlas. Esteve filme retrata várias realidades em simultâneo e transmite-nos a ideia da vida após a morte e que acabamos por nos reencontrar com as pessoas com quem nos demos na vida anterior. É uma ideia fantástica e adorei a forma como tudo isto foi retratado, fazendo até lembrar o filme "a origem" que imensa gente adorou. Se ainda não o viram aconselho vivamente a fazerem-no!

Today I talk to you about a movie that has not been very talked about but that I thought it was amazing and beside I've only heard to talk well about it: Cloud atlas. This movie shows us various realities at the same time and it transmits us the idea of life before dead and how we are inevitable end up we the same people we have been in our previous life. It's a fantastic idea and I loved the way they show this to us, making even remember about the movie "Inception" that so many people loved. If you haven't seen the film already I really say to you: do it!

Hoje trago-vos mais um filme de animação, Frankenweenie, um filme que mostra o amor de uma criança pelo seu cão e que faz tudo para o ressuscitar após este ter morrido. Gostei bastante do filme e espero que vocês também.

O filme que vos trago hoje é o Hobbit. Adorei este filme, queria imenso vê-lo e simplesmente adorei. A história está magnifica e super bem contada, as paisagens são lindas e os actores maravilhosos. Fiquei com imensa vontade de comprar o livro e lê-lo.


The film that I bring you today is the Hobbit. I loved this movie, wanted a lot to see him and simply loved it. The story is great and very well told, the landscapes are beautiful and wonderful actors. I was with immense will to buy the book and read it.

Hoje trago-vos um filme que gostei imenso, As vantagens de ser invisível. É um filme bastante simples, mas no qual conseguimos sentir tudo o que as personagens pensam e é bem um retrato da realidade actual e da adolescência, sem ser um daqueles filmes em que sabemos que no final tudo acaba optimamente bem. Recomendo.

Today I bring you a movie that I really enjoyed, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Is a fairly straightforward, but in which we were able to feel everything that the characters think and is a portrait of the current situation and of adolescence, without being one of those movies in which we know that in the end everything turns out great as well. Recommend.

Mais um Domingo e mais um filme. Hoje trago-vos "Um Ritmo Perfeito" um filme no género da série Glee e como seguidora que sou desta série, gostei de ver este filme.

Agora que a maior parte de vocês estão de férias, apesar de eu só começar para a semana e uma vez que também tenho um pouco mais de tempo livre e tenho visto bastantes filmes, vou começar a fazer esta rubrica 2, ou até mais, vezes por semana. Hoje falo-vos então do filme Bel Ami. Gostei bastante de o ver, e da caracterização que é feita da época, das tentativas de chegar ao poder e das traições e infedilidades. Gostei do papel de Robert Pattinson. E vocês, o que acharam?

Espera aí que já casamos é uma comédia romântica que fala sobre um casal que se decide casar mas que está sempre a adiar a data do seu casamento devido à vida profissional de Violet. Passando por muitas aventuras e desventuras o casal acaba por se separar até que no final ficam juntos de novo (como não poderia deixar de ser!). Eu gostei bastante deste filme, apesar de ter o típico final romântico. É um bom filme e recomendo!

The five-year engagement is a romantic comedy about a couple who decide to get married but that is always postpone the date of his marriage because of the professional life of Violet. Passing through many adventures and misadventures the couple ends up breaking up until at the end are together again (as it should be!). I really liked this movie, despite having the typical late romantic. It's a good movie and highly recommend!

Hoje falo-vos do filme 2 dias em Nova Iorque. Não gostei deste filme, aliás nem acabei de o ver. Achei a história muito pobre e pareceu-me ser daqueles filmes românticos lamechas em que as pessoas se enrolam umas com as outras e no final fica tudo bem. Não sei se alguém já o viu e tem uma opinião diferente, mas de todas as pessoas com quem falei tiveram a mesma opinião que eu!

I found the story very poor and appeared to me to be one of those movies in which people are wound with each other and at the end is fine. Hoje falo-vos de um dos filmes que mais gostei de ver até agora, O Diário Secreto de um Caçador de Vampiros. Gostei imenso da própria história do filme, da maneira como se desenrola, dos efeitos. Como o próprio nome do filme indica trata-se da história de um homem, que após ter visto a sua mãe a morrer às mãos de um vampiro faz tudo para o matar, acabando por se tornar num caçador de vampiros e mais tarde, defensor dos negros e presidente dos Estados Unidos. É uma história muito bem conseguida que muda inúmeras vezes de rumo e por isso nunca se sabe o que vai acontecer a seguir. Recomendo vivamente e espero que gostem!

Today I speak to you from one of the films I liked to see so far, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I really enjoyed the story of the film, the way unfolds, the effects. As the name of the movie indicates it is the story of a man, who after seeing her mother die at the hands of a vampire does everything to kill him, and eventually become a Vampire Hunter and later, defender of blacks and President of the United States. It is a story very well achieved that changes many times of course, so you never know what will happen next. I strongly recommend and hope you like it!

Hoje o filme que vos falo é o Ted, um filme que na minha opinião prometia imenso mas que me desiludiu um pouco. Não deixa de ser um bom filme, mas esperava um bocadinho mais.

Domingo foi tarde de filme como não poderia deixar de ser e a escolha foi mais um filme de animação e mais uma grande tarde de diversão. Desta vez o escolhido foi Brave indomável uma história sobre uma princesa um tanto ao quanto invulgar que não gosta de todas aquelas coisinhas de meninas que se vêem nos filmes de princesas, mas que é rebelde e destemida. Quando chega a hora de tentar arranjar um casamento com um dos "povos" vizinhos, Brave revolta-se contra a mãe e após tentativas falhadas de mostrar o seu ponto de vista acaba por recorrer a um feitiço para "mudar" a mãe. É uma bela história sobre como a relação mãe-filha pode ser complicada pois cada uma quer o melhor e que neste caso acaba por se resolver da melhor forma.

Sunday afternoon was an afternoon of cinema as it should be and the choice was another animated movie and another great afternoon of fun. This time the chosen one was Brave a story about an unusual Princess who doesn't like all those little things of girls who find themselves in the films of princesses, but that is rebellious and fearless. When it comes time to try to arrange a marriage with one of the ' peoples ' neighbors, Brave revolt against the mother and after failed attempts to show your point of view turns out to use a spell to "change" her. It is a beautiful story about how the mother-daughter relationship can be complicated because each wants the best and which in this case happens to resolve in the best way.

Para Roma com Amor foi o filme escolhido desta semana, mais uma comédia mas em tom romântico que mostra imensos lados de relações amorosas e conjugais e as transformações que estas sofrem, mas que desta vez não me deixou muito entusiasmada. Gostei do filme mas não me fascinou totalmente. E vocês que opinião têm deste filme?

To Rome With Love was the movie chose for this week, one more comedy in a romantic tone that shows us many sides of a relationship and the transformations they can suffer. This movie didn't enthusiasm me so much. I liked it but I didn't love it. And you? What do you think about this movie?

Hoje a noite foi passada no cinema e o filme escolhido foi Astérix e Obélix: Ao Serviço de Sua Majestade. Sempre gostei destes filmes, adoro o papel do Gérard Depardieu e este mostrou-se ser um bom filme, animado e divertido para uma noite bem passada.
Gostei imenso da forma como retratam o "chá das 17h" e a componente da "esperança" e o acreditar que somos capazes, quando fazem o bluff com a poção. De resto não conto mais senão tira a piada do filme.

Tonight was passed at the cinema and the film chosen was Asterix and Obelix: On Her Majesty's service. I always liked these movies,I  love the role of Gérard Depardieu and this proved to be a good movie, lively and fun for a night well spent.
I really enjoyed the way they portray the "5:0 pm o'clock tea" and the component of "hope" and believe that we are able to do everything, when they make the bluff with the potion. Moreover do not count more than it takes the joke of the movie.

Hoje falo-vos de um filme que vi na semana passada e que adorei como já estava à espera, A idade do gelo 4: Deriva Continental. Adoro, adoro estes filmes. São sempre tão giros e fofinhos e, apesar de serem de animação e supostamente direccionados para crianças acho que se adequam a qualquer idade dando para fazer diferentes interpretações. Eu recomendo vivamente e espero que gostem tanto como eu.

"A história deste novo filme vai-se focar novamente em Diego, Sid e Manny que desta vez são separados do seus amigos e familiares após uma inundação e têm que usar um iceberg como navio para reencontrá-los."













Today I speak to you about a movie I saw last week and loved it as I was expecting, the ice age 4: Continental drift. I love, love these movies. Are always so cute and cuddly and, despite being supposedly aimed and for children I think that suit any age giving to make different interpretations. I heartily recommend and hope you enjoy as much as I did.

"The story of this new film will focus again on Diego, Manny and Sid which this time are separated from his friends and family after a flood and have to use an iceberg as ship to be reunited with them."

Hoje falo-vos de um dos filmes mais falados este ano, A Branca de Neve e o Caçador. Gostei imenso do filme, apesar de achar que talvez já sejam demasiadas versões desta história por um ano. O filme está bem conseguido e adoro o papel da Kristen Stewart que apesar de todas as críticas que recebe é uma excelente actriz. Aconselho o filme e espero que gostem!

Nova versão do lendário conto «A Branca de Neve e o Caçador», a história de Branca de Neve, a única pessoa na terra mais bela que a rainha má, que fará de tudo para a destruir. A jovem Branca de Neve aprende a arte da guerra com um caçador, que supostamente teria a missão de a matar, e ameça o reino desta reínha do maléfico.

Today I speak to you of one of the most talked about films this year, snow white and the Huntsman. I really enjoyed the movie, although I believe that may already be too many versions of this story for a year. The film is well done and I love the role of Kristen Stewart that despite all the criticism she receives is an excellent actress. Advise the film and I hope you enjoy it!
